What do you enjoy most about being a Mom Ambassador?

There are so many rewarding aspects of Moms Meet! What I most enjoy is the opportunity to be introduced to healthy living products and sharing the knowledge of these products with my family and friends. Some of the products I’ve come across with Moms Meet I already knew and loved but most are new to me and that is exciting. Having a moms group and being able to share something interesting, fun, and beneficial has been a light in my active moving life as an Army Wife. With my group and Moms Meet I’ve had the privilege of meeting new moms and gaining significant information about obtaining and keeping a healthy family.

Tell us about your group.

My Moms Meet group, “Mentor and Mom” has a wide variety of moms including stay at home moms, work from home moms, working moms, and home-schoolers. A lot of the moms in my group already have a background in raw, organic, and natural lifestyles, however we also have many families just exploring this healthier way of life and we welcome moms of either type. The average age of our children ranges from 2-9. We have had home-based playgroups and large event playgroups, including shares done at church and restaurants.

What is the best product your group has sampled so far?

We have shared/sampled many great products but our favorite so far was the Kabrita Goat Milk Yogurt and Fruit. We had our Kabrita share at Chick-Fil-A during a “Giveaway Galore” event my friend Heidi from “Toledo Healthy Moms Meet” and I put on. We gave away so many different things such as lactation cookies, natural baby care items, and cloth diapers. Our kids enjoyed the play area and coloring the pages that came along in our sample kit. The Kabrita kit was huge and we were able to bless so many families with this product. These yogurt and fruit pouches were a hit especially with our kids and that is what made it so fun.  Most of us already give our children reusable, homemade, or store bought food pouches and it’s so convenient. A lot of toddlers have or have had a sensitivity to dairy so having a goat milk option is incredible. I know for myself this opened a whole new world for me and the choices I give my 1-year-old.

What advice do you have for Mom Ambassadors?

As a New Mom Ambassador it is important that you watch the welcome webinar and get to know the site well. Follow discussions and be active. When planning a special play-date including a sampling program, bring the product to life and make it fun. Simple touches like signs and decorations can get your guests excited about what you have to offer. Always have some form of product information handy, including where these products can be purchased and their average price. Be kind and save some samples for the moms who were not able to make the group share events so they don’t feel left out. If you want more sampling opportunities, share about it on social media!
