Our Bloggers Were Busy This Year!

Food & Recipes, Health & Wellness, Member Spotlight, Parenting, Sampling Fun | December 18, 2015

In the blink of an eye, 2015 will be behind us. We are so fortunate to have teamed up with some of the most inspiring, creative, and ambitious mom bloggers! We are left in awe of their ability to juggle busy schedules while blogging and promoting a better-for-you lifestyle for their readers. Here are just a few of our Blog Ambassadors who caught our attention.

Noelle, singerskitchen.com

Opera singer and blogger Noelle of singerskitchen.com welcomed a new buddle of joy to her family this year. She was recently selected to sample and publish a review of Organic India Tulsi—a line of tea that supports the body’s natural immune system while relieving the body’s negative reaction to stress. Since she is a self-proclaimed coffee and tea fanatic, we waited with anticipation to see how this tea incorporated into her life as a busy mom of three.

“Now that I have three children in my home, the amount of stress has increased simply because I am trying to find a balance,” Noelle told us. “But this tea is perfect because what I learned is that modern research has classified Tulsi as an adaptogenic herb. Adaptogens have been shown to support the body’s natural immune system while relieving the body’s negative reaction to stress.” Visit her blog to read more.

Heidi, boysonabudget.com

Heidi, who blogs at boysonabudget.com, can relate to working mothers. As a mom of two, she balances family life as well as a full-time job. She very recently made the exciting decision to change her career path and become a “mompreneur,” and we wish her the best in her new endeavors! Before Heidi made this decision, she had reviewed a product with Moms Meet called Gaia Herbs Adrenal Health—a 100 percent herbal formula that enables the body to adapt to both physical and emotional stress in a healthy way by nourishing the adrenals with adaptogens. We were thrilled to see that it has improved her day-to-day life.

“The true test came Monday—going back to work,” she told us. “I have horrible anxiety with my job and often start Monday morning with extreme shaking and streaks of adrenaline. After I entered work, I ate my breakfast and took two pills. Within an hour, my shaking had stopped and I was feeling so calm and relaxed. I was able to think clearly and was actually more motivated than usual. It was such a rewarding feeling to feel like ‘me’ again, and I have Gaia to thank. Overall, I have decided that this is now a ‘must- have’ in my vitamin cabinet.” Visit her blog to read more.

Lindsay, thefoodcure.blogspot.com

Lindsay of thefoodcure.blogspot.com welcomed a new baby with husband Ray as she continues her graduate studies. Jace was her “miracle baby,” and we enjoyed following her pregnancy and birth announcement! We offered Lindsay the opportunity to try Nogii High Protein Bars as we thought these quick and healthy on-the-go snacks would be perfect for her. We later learned that she enjoyed them as much as we had hoped!

“What I love about these bars is that they are made with sustainably sourced, premium ingredients and they have an ideal balance of protein, fat, and carbohydrates,” Lindsay said. “In addition, they do not contain any trans fats, hydrogenated oils, or high fructose corn syrup. They have been the perfect on-the-go snack while I have been breastfeeding.” Visit her blog to read more.

Heather, runeatplayblog.com

Heather, blogger at runeatplayblog.com, adopted an adorable puppy, Baylee. How cute is that little puppy face? Around the same time, we offered Heather the chance to review ASCPA Kids: Rescue Readers books. These books from Studio Fun International and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA®), share heartwarming and humorous tales from the pet’s point of view. Each book is geared to will help teach children the importance of animal care, protection, and love. Heather sent us many pictures from story time and it warmed our hearts.

“I am a firm believer in reading what you love, whatever that may be. The ASPCA books are a great way to encourage your child to read while helping them learn. And it’s a great opportunity to read together with your child. Danny and I read a story together with Jaden every night before bed. I love that 4-5% of the purchase price of every book goes directly to the ASPCA to help continue its mission.” Visit her blog to read more.

 Hannah, eatdrinkandsavemoney.com

Hannah of eatdrinkandsavemoney.com  had a very busy year, as well. She welcomed a new addition to her family, a sweet baby girl. She also won a contest with her Wild Blueberry Croissant French Toast Casserole and was featured on the Moms Meet blog. In late 2015, we offered Hannah the chance to review Music Together classes for her children. Their mixed-age classes, for children from birth to age 5, are the perfect way to introduce babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to the joys of making music. Children—even babies —are inspired and stimulated through interaction with peers of different ages. Hannah fell in love with Music Together and shared her entire class experience, complete with photos, on her blog.

“We loved it so much that I’m going to sign up for classes once Jackson drops his morning nap. I’m telling you, you’ve got to check out these classes! Don’t just take my word for it, try it out yourself for free.” “I seriously feel like I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed this class. Robert has shown much more interest in music since attending the class. He even starts little parades with his instruments now. It’s so adorable.” Visit her blog to read more.

Heather, iamcapturingthemoment.com

Heather, a blogger at iamcapturingthemoment.com, graduated summa cum laude and part of the Honor’s Society of Alpha Sigma Lambda. Way to go, Heather! She plans to begin studies for her Master’s Degree in the beginning of 2014. She also welcomed a baby girl into her family this year—proving moms really can have it all! Even with her busy schedule, we were thrilled that Heather agreed to try and review Veri Soda. All Veri Soda is certified organic, meaning it’s made with the best-quality, organic, non-GMO ingredients. It is also sweetened with organic fruit juice, organic cane sugar, and organic stevia.

“As I sit here writing this paragraph, I am sipping on one of these delicious cans. Filled with that organic lemon lime flavor and is enough to leave no horrible aftertaste but more of a refreshing one. I love the fact that it’s made with real organic lemon and lime juice!” Visit her blog to read more.
