Our Top 4 WOW Influencers ‘19: Boston Moments

May 7, 2019

Moms Meet WOW Influencers ‘19: Boston was held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at La Brasa, in Somerville, Massachusetts. There’s a certain magic in the room each time we gather brands and social media influencers together for an afternoon of networking, and our third installment was no different. Check out our top four favorite moments from the event.

1. Learning to Cook with Prebiotics & Probiotics

Chef Gerard Viverito kicked off the day by delivering an interactive cooking demonstration that infused Regular Girl Prebiotic Fiber & Probiotic Blend with everyday (and oh-so-delicious) recipes. Attendees couldn’t get enough of his Tuscan kale salad with honey dressing and deliciously tangy lemon curd meringue. With the addition of the Regular Girl blend, these dishes offered digestive support for a healthy gut.

2. The Bonding Going On Between the Bloggers

Attendees enjoyed one-on-one networking appointments with our event sponsors The Jojoba Company, Wild Planet, Mary’s Gone Crackers, and more. In a format similar to speed-dating, brands and influencers were able to connect in an intimate setting and forge exciting partnerships in content creation, marketing campaigns, and beyond. Attendees accustomed to the solitary nature of blogging also relished the time they had to connect with one another. We know how crucial it is to find your mom tribe and loved seeing everyone forge important friendships in the blogging community.

3. Getting Professional Headshots Taken

This new perk allowed our influencers the chance to strike a pose—and boy, did they bring it! Throughout the event, our talented photographer snapped professional headshots for those in attendance, helping them up their professional game and put their best face forward. The headshots were a huge hit as influencers lined up at every turn to get their pictures taken.

4. And, that Goody Bag Though

We have a reputation for our over-the-top goody bags, and this one did not disappoint. Filled with full-sized products from our amazing sponsors, the total value of the bag ended up being over $300! Just some of the goodies included were natural bamboo toothbrushes from Woobamboo, two varieties of Mary’s Gone Crackers, TinkerActive STEM workbooks, and VIP product vouchers from Wildscape and Farmwise.

Our Influencers Are Talking

“The WOW Influencers Boston event was one of the best networking events that I’ve ever attended and far exceeded my expectations. The women of Moms Meet were so lovely to meet with and I loved connecting with other moms who also have a similar interest in the blogger/lifestyle space. The food was amazing, the event space was great, and I loved how structured the networking portion of the event was. Will definitely be attending more events in the near future.”

– Ciara C.

“I just wanted to personally thank you and the team for such a spectacular WOW Influencers event! It was probably one of the most professional networking events I’ve ever been to. The food and hospitality were absolutely amazing and the people I met were incredible. I am so happy I had the chance to attend and get a better idea of what WOW events and Moms Meet is all about.”

– Carrie W.

“Boston was truly wonderful–MUCH better and more productive than most of the blogging events/conferences.”

– Victoria F.
