The Moms Meet Holiday Recipe Swap

Food & Recipes, Holidays & Parties | December 3, 2020

While you may not be able to get together for a traditional cookie swap or potluck this year, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy other people’s cooking! We’ve gathered holiday favorites from KIWI magazine and some of our favorite brands to help bring your culinary celebrations to the next level.

“The all-American cheese ball is a throwback worth revisiting. I love how this fun dish brings together sweet pears and cheese, presented together in the shape of everyone’s favorite holiday fruit. And it’s deceptively easy to pull off, too, which makes it perfect for serving to the whole family before a holiday dinner.”

It’s brimming with seasonal fruit flavors, spirit-warming brandy, and Sambucol Black Elderberry Syrup for an extra burst of immune support this season.”

Sugar Plum Fairy Cupcakes

Contributed by Five Marigolds for Nellie’s Free Range Eggs

“Decked out in icy pink buttercream frosting with peppermint candies, purple gumdrops, and colorful sprinkles as far as the eye can see, these sugar plum fairy cupcakes are as delightful and dainty as the sugar plum fairy herself! But that’s not all. Just like any good fairytale, each of these Nutcracker-inspired sweets comes with a few surprises; namely, a melted white chocolate truffle hidden in the center.”

Caramelized Rockit Apples with Maple Cinnamon Cream

Contributed by Lorinda Oscarson, marketing coordinator of Chelan Fresh

“This recipe has quickly become an “Easy” button household favorite. This quick dessert recipe is perfect for cold winter evenings and you probably have all the ingredients on hand. It has all of the rich flavors of vanilla, maple, and cinnamon with a healthy twist of warm apples. Serve casually to family or add a festive garnish for your favorite dinner guests.”
