      Hey galls,

Are there any stay-at-home mom’s here that work a (cold) calling job with their little ones still at home with them?

If so, how do you do it?

I am about to start my calling job (it isn’t cold calling, I have people that inquire about a service and I call them to confirm) soon and right now my little ones are 4, 3, and 1 and are homeschooled. My job will have flexible hours (4-5 hours a day – 5 days a week). I would prefer to work during the day or mid evening. Preferably no weekends or late nights.

What would be the best route to do this and still homeschool?

Right now I don’t have funds for a tutor or babysitter. I don’t have family here and I don’t have any friends.

I was looking for a job I could work from home. I kept running into snags like my Internet connection wasn’t stable enough(live in the country), they wanted me to work evenings and weekends bla bla. I got fed up and it turns out a better option for me was to start my own business from home. Best decision ever. I work when I want and when I can. I just seen this is an older post I Hope everything worked out for you!

I had no clue about anything relating to the online world other then posting pictures on But it’s amazing what you can accomplish with a little determination a good attitude and the help of an awesome online community. Blessing come in all sorts of shapes and sizes! Don’t worry about being nosy I am an open book!

I might be interested in talking about this. Am a commercial real estate broker in Boston and could use some help drumming up new business. True cold calling. You can email me at [email protected] if you want to talk.
