Hello ladies! I am brand new to this group, and was wondering if any of you fellow mommas battle autoimmune diseases, like me? I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sjogrens Syndrome, Pyoderma Gangreseoum, connective tissue disease, and a Vitamin D deficiency. I also have 4 kids, a 17 year old bonus son,10 year old son, 5 year old daughter, and 2 year old baby boy. Sometimes the struggle is too real, between balancing doctor’s appointments, my kids’ many after school extracurriculars, being a wife, and just being a mom to the kiddos. I very recently had to give up my full time managing/serving/bartending career, to become a stay at home mom. Can any other mommas relate to the madness?🤣

Sorry to hear that ralucaberger, wgat autoimmune diseases do you have, if you don’t mind me asking?

I haven’t been diagnosed because of a rude and unwilling to listen doctor. I suspect I have hashimoto’s, as all of the symptoms are there. I started the Autoimmune Protocol to help get my health back on track.

Can relate. When I was pregnant with my second child my daughter started to get symptoms of juvenile arthritis. At the time we thought it was growing pains, she was only 2. After she was diagnosed and my son born I quit my job to stay home. It can be a struggle balancing her needs, appointments, sons needs, working out, being a wife and more but I’m learning. I know it will get harder to juggle everything as the kids get older and have their own extracurricular activities. Some days I’m exhausted but it’s totally worth it. I love my family so much!

I also have an auto-immune disease it is Scleroderma I have fibromyalgia Vitamin D deficiency.I am only 39 and most of the time I feel like I am 80.I have been diagnosed now for 8 years and as you know there is no cure for auto-immune diseases I have taken it into my own hand to do research of how to live healthier and greener.Learning about your disease and see how you can take matters into your own hands helps a lot.I also have kids at home and they are helpful and understanding.
