What can I do to not use inhaler?
What type of inhaler are you talking about?
My son also takes a chewable steroid to help his asthma
Personally i dont think there is much you can do if a inhaler was prescribed then you must need it. Hot steamy showers or baths with some vicks vapor bath may help some.
Is there any particular reason to not use an inhaler? I agree with Lisa, hot showers and using Vicks can help. When I have asthma flare ups and my inhaler is not around, I breathe a little better with fresh air or going somewhere that’s cold (Winter air is the most refreshing and easiest to breathe).
The question is why are you not wanting to use the inhaler?
Honestly, there is not many options available to help asthma issues if the asthma is so severe that it needs the use of an inhaler or nebulizer treatments.
I know from our experience that I can turn the shower on hot water and sit in the bathroom with my son and let him breathe in the hot steam and it will help him some. But it doesnt help as well as his meds do.
Change of place and now i dont need one.
