Yes, you can put them into compost pile. Any leaves act like great fertilizer.
You can also add veggie scraps
I also shred my newspaper and certain mail and scatter it in the yard in the winter. Gives my yard a little “snack” in the winter.
Oak leaves compost really well, and they help keep oxygen in the soil which is important for composting.

By the way, I never heard of it, just now and I research it oak leaves they moderate soil temperatures, suppress weeds, conserve moisture, and add nutrients to the soil as they decompose. maybe, I’ll try these tips! thanks
