My daughter just started 1st grade. She has peanut and tree nut allergies and her school doesn’t have a nut-free policy. Any thoughts on what I can do to protect my baby? Thanks!
You shiuld let the school know and see if they can make her classroom peanut free
All teachers and staff including nurse should be made aware. Get an epi-pen and benadryl to keep at school to be on safe side.
Before you take your child to a particular school, inquire if they have a school health instructor or preferably a food allergists who can look after the kids in case an incident occurs. By so doing the life of your kids are safe and protected.
Although, I have written some articles on Food Allergies and you can reach me for a free attachment sent to your email.
