I hope everyone teaches their kids young to care! I was taught very young and still care a great deal about it. Have even picked up other peoples’ bottles/cans, even garbage on my walks & always put them in the appropriate cans/bins. Even if you go out there and pick up one thing someone carelessly left on the ground, you’re making a difference. That’s what I want my kids to learn.

I watched a 15 min documentary on Buzz Feed about a gal who went a month with zero trash. It was eye opening and that chick lost so much weight because she was purchasing fresh produce that she would use reusable bags to purchase and wasn’t purchasing much of anything else because it would mean trash. I really want to try this for a month and change up somethings like being able to purchase items that are packaged which can be recycled or composted. So essentially, NO PLASTIC.
