PREP:15 minutes COOK:8-10 minutes SERVES:4 sliders
For the delicious taste of a juicy burger with a healthy spin, whip up a batch of these turkey burger sliders with easy and affordable ingredients all found under $10.
1 1/4 pounds lean ground turkey
2 tablespoons red onion, minced
2 tablespoons steak sauce
1/8 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
Salt and black pepper to taste
Sliced cheese (optional)
Mix all of the ingredients in a medium bowl. Shape turkey mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball. Press into patties in your hand. Cook on a grill, on medium to high for about 4 minutes each side, flipping only once.
Place the buns on the grill, over low heat to warm. Place burgers on slider buns and top with various optional toppings such as argula, red onion, tomato slices, and your favorite condiments. Enjoy immediately. Serve with sweet potato fries if desired.
