    Hi! I went vegan a couple months ago before my son started eating real food. Do you have any suggestions for getting enough iron into his diet other than feeding him cereal with every meal? Thanks!

    Cook with cast iron skillet, supplement or there is a product called iron fish. Basically you throw it in food you cook and food absorbs iron. Tons of plant based foods are naturally high in iron

    I have the Thalassemia trait and have always been anemic. It was very hard during my two pregnancies, I was constantly nauseous, couldn’t eat anything. So my dietitian suggested that I should always eat green leafed salads in combination with lemon or tomatoes and pumpkin seeds. Two years on completely vegan diet and healthy.
