      I say workout and eating healthy is your best option. believe it or not. 80% eating good and 20% exercise is the rule of thumb.

      I have both perspectives now. I used to exercise three times a week, was active and in great shape. A week before my scheduled mastectomy I was in a horrible auto accident with a drunk driver. My life as I knew it was over. I was a cook/manager on my feet for 8-10 hours a day. Now I can’t work. I can’t walk without a cane, memory loss. Exercise is out of the question, my knees were messed up during the accident. I’ve gained weight and asked my doctor about diet pills. He gave me Phentermine. It has worked, the only drawback is I have to see him every month for a refill and it’s $97.50 to see him plus the cost of the pills. So, I can attest that Phentermine DOES work.

      Phentermine helped me lose a bit too, but it is a very addictive controlled substance. My doctor would only give me a 90 day prescription and flat out refuses to give more no matter how many times the pharmacy asks or how much I beg. Be careful with this legal speed.

      Pills don’t, taking a magnesium supplement might make you feel less bloated while you’re cutting back though and help flush your system.

      No idea on pills as they tend to rev up my heart rate a bit over the top – eek! I did lose over 903 three years ago with the help of essential oils, exercise and subtle eating habit changes. Hubby lost over 40# and good news is, we’ve all managed to keep the weight off – yahoo!!

      I have not found anything that truly works yet except for dieting and exercise but the bad thing about that is I’m not strong willed enough to keep that going. I wish I was naturally thin but I’m not so I’ll have to keep dreaming.

      pleas stop taking pills, my best friend died from them she was a mom to two toddlers her heart just stoped, in the autopsy the doctors say the pills killed her, she was only eating one pill a day

      Everyone telling you to eat right and exercise are correct. No such thing as a magic (or good for you) pill. Weight loss is slow… so was the weight gain, if you are honest. That said, “alli” is a fat blocker which will stop absorption of about 1/3 of the fat you ingest. Easy and fairly quick 5 pound weight loss… it is expensive, but might be worth checking out.

      I drink about a gallon of water a day. I exercise at least 9 hours a week. What I need is something to take away the craving at night. I’m limited to aquatic classes due to disability. I walk in the therapy pool back and forth, among taking HIT classes at least 3 times a week. Help!!

      Personally, just taking a multivitamin every day, drinking more water, and eating cleaner have helped me in losing a few pounds! The multivitamin and other supplements I take such as turmeric give me the energy to be more active throughout the day! Don’t know of any specific weight loss supplements that work though!
