My son has a very weak immune system. Hes 6 yrs old and is always sick. He has had his tonsils removed. Hes had tubes in his ears and had them removed and has had more ear infections. In May alone he had pneumonia twice. He’s also severely allergic to 3 antibiotics. He has other health issues such as autism, depression, ADHD, asthma, peanut allergy, other food allergies, reflux, behavioral issues and currently and random stomach issue we are going from dr to Dr to find answers for.
A few Drs have mentions autoimmune disease but no one has ever tested him. What kind of Dr would test him and does anyone think its actually something I should do or would it be a waste of time? Hes been thru so much already.

Hey momma! I would suggest a doctor that specializes in the stomach that was they can test him and see what’s going on.

autism cannot be diagnosed easily, I have a 5-year-old son with autism and this diagnosis took 1 year. We were with a lot of tests and different doctors, therapists for a year and it was a really difficult process for us. Now we continue to special education and speech therapy, he is very interesteed in some online games and I think it is beneficial to its development. Especially we use the otsimo application every day so that he learned some numbers and colors. I would like to share the app’s website with you https://otsimo.com/en/. I hope it helps in your baby 🙂

Honestly, I wouldn’t ask about testing, I would demand the testing. It took over 10 years for my parents to get any sort of answer as to why I was continuously ill, in and out of the hospital, on bed rest, and struggling with school. I suffered quite a bit growing up and even though it had taken 10 for my parents to get any information I still wasn’t diagnosed with autoimmune disease until I demanded testing at the age of 26! It took forever to gather all of my medical records from every single doctor and specialist who had seen me but it was 100% worth it in the end!! Demand the testing hun, they cannot deny the test for your poor baby.
