White Vinegar – Does it all! I’m all about using this in my dishwasher (spotless results when placed in the spot for add’l treatments), softner in the laundry, all-purpose cleaner in a spray bottle (you can add essential oil if you want fragrance or added anti-bacterial benefits from tea tree oil), and deodorizer (especially if anyone has fragrance sensitivities in your home).
Coupons!!!! – Sign up for your favorite brands’ newsletters and be brand ambassadors for them. Fill out those surveys they send because often you’ll receive a great coupon. Organic brands are great at this even the pet food brands.
Accept hand-me-downs – I have friends and cousins who have moved or have the money to buy a lot of new things. They often are giving away clothes, shoes, lamps, furniture. Don’t be proud! Reuse instead of buying new.
Facebook Marketplace – Love this! I often buy great furniture on this. Mid-century furniture is made solid and with great wood. If it’s a little worn, buy some chalk paint at Joann’s, polyacrylic at Lowe’s and voila! You’ll have beautiful furniture for your children’s or guest rooms.
